Student / Faculty / Staff - Emergency Contact Update

Butler Community College's Emergency and Alert Notification System (BEARS) uses notification services from RAVE Mobile Safety. Navigating to the Butler page at the RAVE website enables Students, Faculty, and Staff to update their contact information in order to receive notification messages from BUTLER COMMUNITY COLLEGE via telephone, e-mail, and text message (SMS).

All Students, Faculty, and Staff are automatically uploaded into the Rave Mobile Safety system using the basic contact information we have available. Please login and verify or update this contact information. Remember to keep your contact information current so that you will continue to receive alert notifications or information regarding emergencies at BCC.

This process can be completed in two easy steps:

  1. First, you will need the welcome email sent to your Butler E-mail Address (ex: jgrizz@butlercc.edu)

  2. Second, navigate to the Butler Emergency and Alert Contact Portal (BEARS) at RAVE Mobile Safety (link below) and login using your Butler email address as your userid and the password you received in the welcome email when you were added to the system.

    NOTE: Please keep your profile up to date to ensure that you can be contacted during a notification event.
